Samantha had her 1 month appointment today. She met Dr. Norris who will be her pediatrician. She had to get her second hepatitis B vaccine, so she had to suffer through a shot to her left thigh. :( While she cried for a minute or two, daddy was there to pick her up and comfort her until she forgot all about it!
While we knew she was growing, we had no idea just how much. She now weighs 11 lbs. and almost 5 oz.! In addition she is 22.5 inches in length. Both of those put her >75 percentile! Take a look at that explosion on the growth chart!
She won't be back for an office visit until her two month appointment. Who knows what she'll weigh by then! Unfortunately, she will get stuck a couple times on the next visit for all of her 2 month vaccinations.
Also, be sure to check a video of her new favorite time of the day...bath time!
